Custom Necklace Gift Box — Flat Printed Box, Flannelette Pouch and Matching Bag

A custom necklace gift box is a flat lid and base box that carries a piece in a soft pouch inside it, with the brand line printed on the lid and a ribbon-handle bag printed to match. It is built for the moment a necklace changes hands, where the piece, the box, the card and the bag are handed over together and all carry the same brand. Everything is produced to order at Imprenta Longyin: the box size, the lid print, the pouch inside, the card and the bag are all made for your order rather than assembled from existing stock.

What You Can Specify on a Custom Necklace Gift Box

The set is specified as one job rather than four separate items, because the box depth is set by the pouch inside it and the bag is sized so the box drops in without rattling. The table below shows what each decision changes.

Why the Box Is Kept Flat at 9 x 9 x 3 cm

The box is deliberately shallow, because a necklace is a flat piece and a deep box lets it move, which is what causes a chain to shift and the lid to sit unevenly. A flat lid and base box keeps the piece lying on the pouch, so the lid closes on a level surface and the box stays slim in a drawer or a display case. The board gives the corners their square and the wrap carries the colour, and the lid overlap is set against the finished pouch thickness rather than guessed, which is why the pouch is quoted with the box rather than afterwards. Sets that need a different shape for the same piece can be built around a sliding format instead, which is what the custom jewelry pouch with logo page covers as a pouch-led programme, where the pouch itself is the item sold.

The lid sits on the base with a firm slide and no visible gap, and that fit is checked on the sample as a closed box, not as a flat sheet.

The Printed Lid and the Card: Where the Brand Message Sits

The lid carries the brand, which is why the artwork is printed or foil stamped on the lid rather than left to a sticker, and the card carries the words that do not fit on a lid. A short brand line on a flat lid reads across a counter, and because the lid is a separate piece, the line is positioned before wrapping so it stays parallel to the edge on every box. The card sits on top of the pouch, so the first thing seen when the lid is lifted is the pouch, with the card beside it. Both are one design per order, so a shipment carries the same print throughout.

The Bag: Ribbon Handle and How the Set Leaves the Counter

The carrier bag is finished with a satin ribbon handle rather than a die-cut slot, because a ribbon handle folds flat for storage and still reads as a gift when it is carried. The bag is sized to the box so it drops in without rattling, and the artwork is printed to match the lid print, which means the box and the bag reach the counter as one unit instead of a box going into a plain bag. The ribbon can be matched to the set colour or set in contrast, and the bow or loop at each end is confirmed on the sample.

Colour Matching Across the Set

Box, pouch, card and bag are matched in one order, and that single matching run is what separates a set from four items that happen to arrive together. Fabric colour, wrap colour, ribbon colour and card stock are approved against one reference, so an ivory set stays ivory across every piece and a charcoal set stays charcoal. Where a brand runs more than one colourway, each colourway is matched as its own set with its own reference. The matching is done in one plant rather than between suppliers, which is what keeps a repeat season on tone.

Where a Necklace Packaging Set Is Used

It is used for necklaces, pendants and small sets in jewellery retail, online order fulfilment, gifting and press samples, where the piece is presented and then carried away. A set is chosen where the counter experience matters as much as the piece, since a customer who leaves with a box and a bag keeps both. Retailers running several categories usually order a size set so pendants, chains and small sets all ship in the same finish. Where a project needs the piece presented in a rigid format instead of a soft one, the custom drawer jewelry boxes we produce use a sliding tray for the same purpose.

Set Assembly, Inspection and Packing

Longyin International Printing Group Limited runs a 20,000 m2 plant in Shenzhen Longhua with 300+ employees and 50+ technical specialists, each with 10+ years of printing experience, and a set order is assembled and inspected as a set before it leaves the plant. For a programme that ships boxed and bagged rather than flat, that final stage is where most of the risk sits:
